About Us:

Founded in 1996, by then 4th Degree Black Belt, Shaun Seifer, The Imperial Dragon Martial Arts Academy came into existence to cater to people from all walks of life. Our motto:

"Where people gain strength through knowledge"

and our mission statement:

"To provide every man, woman and child with an equal opportunity to discover peace and wisdom through the timeless practice of Martial Arts"

were both written by Shihan Seifer and his staff. Their goal was to get the arts out to as many people as possible and demystify the enigma surrounding the arts.

In addition, in times like we are living through, self-defense is also a must for all persons. Be it child abduction prevention or
women's self defense, there are certain tips and tricks that every man, woman and child should know.

Our schools are based on what we call the "4 Rules" of:

Respect (treating other people the way "I" want to be treated)

Self-Discipline (doing the things I know I should do, whether I want to or not)

Self Control (controling my behavior to fit the situation)

and Honor (acting my age and rank so people will treat me with the respect I deserve.

With these "4 Rules", anything is achievable.
